Big Weekend...Big....HUGE!!!

I had the greatest weekend! My family from Florida came to meet me. Aunt Pat (aka Aunt Poot) as mom says she used to call her, Uncle Saul (smartest man in the world) and my cousin Austin (future olympic swimmer) flew in from Jacksonville Florida thursday evening to spend the weekend with me...oh yeah and to see the rest of the family!

So, here I am waiting for them to arrive thursday evening. This is Grandpa's new Teryx (T-Rex). He says he bought it for hunting, but really it's for me!!!! Mom gave me her keys to chew on because the anticipation was too great!! (No worries, no guns in those cases!)

Then once they arrived, I felt right at home in Austin's arms chewing on my sippy cup.

Then Aunt Poot got me and I enjoyed more chewing time....OH AND SPEAKING OF CHEWING, MY UPPER TOOTH CAME IN. BIG NEWS!!!!!

Here I am playing my favorite game!!!! I had to show them how to do it!

I get so excited I can't get this thing off my head fast enough!

Then Uncle Saul decided he wanted to play Peek A Boo; I think I'm a lot better at it, but good try Uncle Saul...

But after all that excitement; I passed completely out after Austin fed me my bottle!

And this was just the first night!!!

We had so much fun playing, I wish they didn't live so far away, I want to play some more! Guess I'll have to wait until Austin comes down this summer to Camp Uncle Bill and Aunt Helen's. See you soon Buddy!

New Chair

Will got a new chair yesterday! Grammy bought it for him, she thought it was time he had his own seat!

At first he wasn't quite sure about this thing...as you can see from the picture below!

Then we discovered the box!

Oh boy did we have fun in that box!

Annnd, then later, we tried out the chair again! Other than wanting to jump out, he does pretty well in it.

Aren't babies feet just so precious????

Grandpa's Birthday

Yesterday was Grandpa's birthday. I won't tell you his age; I've heard it's just a numbers game anyway! All I'll say is he's as old as Grammy now! We had a good night playing; I was feeling so much better after my ears were cleared, I can actually hear now!

Here we are after Grandpa got home from work, I had to tell him Happy Birthday and share my story of what I went thru that morning.

Tubes Today

Will got tubes put in this morning. I am soooo glad that is over. He did really well until they brought him back to us. The procedure took no more than 5 minutes total. When the nurse brought him to us; he saw us and completely freaked. He was pretty upset until he took a nap, then he was a happy baby. His ears were pretty bad, they put him on antibotic drops for a week to clear up the infection. That kid must have a high tolerance for pain, because they were pretty infected. Anyway, the day has gotten much better, the ears are draining and Bear (Will) is doing great and already seems to be hearing better!

On a happier note, what a great Sunday! Saturday was gloomie doomie, but Sunday we got to go down on the beach and play in the sand for a minute and took a ride on Grandpa's mule. No it's not a real mule, it's the motorized kind! We had a great weekend at the lake. Just a few fun pictures of Will from the weekend.

Clap, Clap, Clap!!

Mom posted earlier that I like to clap my hands. Well, I wanted to show you how well I do this fine trick. I love to clap, for anything really; a few good times are when I eat, when you pick me up, if I meet someone new, I have to show them, I clap at the doctor after he looks at me. Yeah, pretty much any times a good time for me. I'll even clap your face! So, here I am showing off my talent.

These pictures are a little glarie (yeah, I made that up), but too cute not to post! We went for a walk yesterday afternoon; it was so awesome outside! Will looks so much bigger when he's in shorts and a t-shirt. Like he's a big kid, not my little (yeah right) baby boy. So, I had to share his Royal Preciousness with everyone!

He likes to take the sunglasses off, so those didn't last long.

This time of year is so amazing...as long as we don't have anymore freezing cold days. Will loves it outside, he spent the entire walk trying to kick his shoes off, it was a fun game. The shoes won though; they made it the whole way without falling off. Got to love Crocs!

We're Off...

But I'll try try again.....

Will is getting so big, I didn't post it, but he is now 7 months. I feel like I got completely jipped last month with only 28 days. What the heck, with babies every day counts. I thought the first 6 months went by fast, but it's like a tank of gas, the last half is going to fly by. We went to the ENT doctor this morning and looks like he has to get tubes. His little ears just won't heal. We've gone thru 4 different antibiotics and nothing, so this is our next option. He's not in any pain, but it's uncomfortable when he lays flat so we've elevated his mattress to help with that. I hate that we can't make this better immediately and it tears us apart at night when he's having a bad night, but, 1 more week and it will all be behind us...hopefully! Here's just a few funny pics.

This is a new face he's started making. Like he's concentrating or maybe he's just thinking mom's nuts. That's probably it!

He is sitting up so well now. He topples over every once in awhile, but for the most part, he's got it. He's dancing in this picture.

Yup, he thought that was pretty funny....

HEY, Why is it cold again????

One day it's warm, the next day mom's bundling me up in my hat and coat again. What the heck? Now I try to be a patient little man, but toying with my emotions with "yea, we get to go outside, then no it's too cold" is just plain mean.

I love it outside, mom and dad are going to have to drag me in as soon as I'm independent enough to open the door! This is mom and I Sunday evening enjoying the warm evening. It just doesn't get any better than this, well maybe it would have if dad were in the picture too.

I kept trying to get that camera away from mom, but just when I'd grab for it, she'd pull it away, then I'd just smack my hands on my legs. This is becoming quite a fun game.

And here I am testing out the strength in my legs. I'm getting pretty good at this!

And finally, let's ponder a moment...mom says it's cold again, and I just don't like that!

I think we should protest this cold weather; who do I talk too about this?????

I'm not quite old enough to drive, but as soon as my legs are long enough, I'll be off.

See, dad has to hold me because I'm not quite tall enough, so when I grab the wheel to steer (yeah, I know how to do that!) I pull myself off the seat. Just a little longer and I'll be tearing up the streets in my street rod!

I've recently learned this amazing game. I put my burp cloth on my face; you say "Where's Will" and waaalaaa, I pull it down and laugh.
