"Rubber Duckie Your the One"

Come on sing along! See my new bath seat? I really really like my new duckie! It quacks too; kind of scared me at first, but now I think it's funny! Aunt Wendy told mommy about this bath seat, so mommy got me one to try. I sit in it really well, I can play in the water w/out mommy having to squeeze my arm off and I don't topple over into the side of the bath tub. And watch out Grammy, me and my rubber duckie are coming to the pool this summer!!!!

Am I teething again???

I've got all the symptoms again, runny nose, biting on everything, I have a pretty bad cough, but not in my lungs (mom had me checked) so it must be teeth again....maybe! Look how big my new teeth have gotten, I can bite the poo out of you w/ these bad boys.

Dad bought me a onesie when he was in Vegas that says "Pinch your own damn cheeks" Pretty funny I thought!!!!!

I sure missed dad while he was gone, I just need some love papa bear!!!!

I Miss My Daddy!

Daddy is out of town this week and man I miss him. Mom put the phone up to my ear the other day and when daddy started talking I kept looking all over for him. What the heck is with this phone contraption???? Well, I can't wait for him to get home to play with me. A week is way too long for him to be gone. I'm sure I'll have grown an inch in daddy's eyes when he gets home. Mommy is trying to keep me entertained, but let's face it, daddy can really crack me up. So hurry home daddy, I'm ready to see you!!!

While you've been gone I went to Grammy's house. Grammy bought me this new toy when she went to get Baby Grace and Baby Daniels their baby shower presents. (I'm not going to spoil the surprise of what they got, but I'll just say it's not my toy!!!)

This thing is pretty cool, my favorite thing to do w/ it is throw it from the highchair, but biting on it is pretty fun too.

Pastor Ray came over to see us too, I was talking to him in this picture. Mom really wished she had the video camera on this one, I was going nuts here.

Mom said today we aren't doing much, but tomorrow; Nana and Grandpa Mike are coming to see me. I can't wait to play with them and get tons and I mean tons of kisses and hugs from Nana! Friday get here quick! Then daddy comes home saturday. Man, it's going to be a good weekend!

The countdown is on....

In less than a month I'm going to have a new cousin and a new friend! Mommy told me Baby Grace (my new cousin) will be here in just a few weeks. Aunt Wendy and Uncle Corry are due February 20th. I can't wait. Yes, if you've put it together, we will be Will and Grace!! Mom decided we can't have a Jack for a baby brother or cousin because we'd have Will, Grace and Jack. If a Karen comes in the picture, HOLY COW!!! Anyway, so Baby Grace is almost here and I'm so excited, I'll teach her all kinds of stuff. I'm thinking she'll be into a lot of the cool stuff I like, so it's going to be so much fun. Baby Grace, I'm waiting for you; but finish baking, you need to be healthy to play with me.

My other new friend is Little Man Daniels, or that's what his mommy calls him. I don't have any new friends that are boys, everyone keeps having girls. Of course they are all my great pals, but I'm swamped w/ girls. Ewww, kooodies!!! So, Little Man Daniels and I will play in the dirt together and ride fast toys and have a Heeman women hater club. Yeah, it will be good to have another boy around!!! His mommy is having him February 20th. So, both my cousin and my buddy are coming the same time. I'm going to be a busy little man.

I just want to tell the mommy's to be safe and bring both Grace and Baby Daniels into this world on time and healthy. Mommy said we are going to pray for you everyday so we know we have two healthy babies and mommy's. I'm going to have my car ready to come see you as soon as you have my friends. See, I'm servicing my mirror!!!

Bathtime! Bathtime!

Oh do we love bathtime! Will can be the most cantankerous little man, but when you mention bathtime and round that corner to his bedroom; woo hoo, the arms start swinging, legs start kicking and we start biting mommies face. (or as I like to call it...giving mommy super slobbery kisses!) Bathtime was a routine Will and I developed from the first bath and it's become a BIG DEAL! Every evening around 6:30-7:00 he starts getting fussy, so off to bathtime we go. I start singing the bathtime song (yeah, it's made up, but it works!!) And no I will not sing it for everyone....

He's learned to play with his feet in the tub, so he's got that going for him!

And now we get to sit in the water after we scrub a dub and play with our seat. He's not very interested in his bath toys yet, but the seat and water are fascinating! As you can see I have to death grip hold him still, but he's starting to get better about sitting up. Not much longer and we'll be splashing the walls!

Then after bathtime, my little burrito baby gets the ulitmate baby massage. Full body massage every night. We love baby massage, it's makes us long and strong just like daddy.

Another fun adventure for Will during bathtime is to hose the wall. Thank the Lord he doesn't pee on me while we wait for the water to warm, but inevitably once we get in the bath, that first cup of water over him gets the little man a flowin!! Got to love little boys and their fire hoses!!!

1st Ear Infection

Will has been feeling like poo since last friday. We knew he was teething and since we found his first tooth last friday night, we just thought that was it. But as the weekend and week have progressed he's been extremely congested, coughing, really cranky and the last 2 days he's ran a temperature. All of which are signs of teething, but we wanted reassurance that he was okay since there is so much junk going around. So, wednesday we went to the doctor and sure enough he's got an ear infection, a cold AND cutting teeth. Poor Guy!!! We got some med's for the ear infection but the cold has to run it's course. Will has cut both his bottom teeth and I'm guessing he's working on the uppers now because he's biting really hard w/ those upper gums.

Today he's run the highest temp. and probably felt the worst. I had to get him from daycare at lunch because his temp. was over 101. After some tylonel and a two hour nap on mommies lap, he felt a little better. Hopefully he'll have a good night sleep....

He's my little trooper!!!

Swim, Swim, Swim

Every time the light on my camera flashes before I snap the picture, this is what Will does. He takes a deep breath, wiggles really fast and pulls his chin in which makes his cheeks even chubbier. Most of the time I try to capture this look, but I get the shocked wide eyed look instead; but this time I got it!!! He's a funny kid!

Rough Weekend

Let me begin by saying teething is for the birds.... I can't sleep, I can't breath and my mouth hurts. BUT.....I got my first tooth!!!! I want to chew on everything including my new found toes. Man, where have those been, they are delicious!!!

Okay, now let me share my weekend of misery! Mom found my tooth friday night when I was going to bed. I kept mom awake most of the night with my frequent outburst of crying, then around 3:30; dad came and got me and brought me to their bed. Then dad tweaked his back some how, so he was in as much pain as me. So mom was taking care of two babies. Saturday was miserable because I couldn't breath worth a darn and that booger sucker is now the devil. Saturday night was a repeat of friday as well as Sunday afternoon. Then last night was the worst, I woke up coughing around 1:00, mom kept checking on me so she didn't get any sleep either, by 3:00 she took me to their bed so she could give me some medicine and suck my nose again with the devil. Well, that ticked me off to the point of uncontrollable crying, so I got a bottle and finally by 5:30 ish, I decided I'd worn us all out so I passed out for an hour. To be honest I think this lack of air issue is way worse for me right now than the teeth. So, today we are all pooped; wish me luck tonight, I'm hoping for some good sleep.

I'm 5 months old today

You always here parents say "I don't know how I lived before my child" or "I don't remember what life was like before my child". And before kids you don't know what they are talking about, but there is so much truth to that. Life before 5 months ago doesn't seem to exist in my eyes. Yes we had some special events that lead us to these last 5 months which will always be special in my heart; but our lives truly started August 6, 2008. Our baby boy turned 5 months old today; I honestly don't remember what life was like before him!!!

New Years Weekend

What a weekend! For anyone who lives in Oklahoma, you know how B-E-A-utiful it was saturday. Nice little taste of spring before the winter freezingness came back. Will took his lovely family to the lake place for the weekend where we enjoyed hanging out and of course lots of playing. Will rang in the New Year around 7:30 Wednesday night and mom and dad followed around 9:00 ish. Yeah, we are party animals! Here are a lot of fun pics from our weekend.

We hope everyone had a wonderful New Year's and 2009 is a great year for you. Will is the best thing that happened to us in 2008 and now we get the blessing of watching him grow. No matter what happens in 09; having him around makes for a wonderful year and life! I know kids can make you want to pull your hair out at times and I'm sure we have that in store in years to come or months (who knows), but what greater gift and blessing is there than to have a child? I've learned so much from Will, we pray he will continue to teach us as we help him grow into a wonderful person.

Also, Will started daycare today, my days of being with him everyday are over. He was beyond amazed with everything at daycare and smiling and happy; mom on the other hand, was a basket case. It brought new meaning to crying like a baby when I was sitting in the nursery floor with 7 babies and I was the one crying!!!
