Weekend with Nana, Aunt Donna & Uncle Roger

Will got to meet his Great Grandma "Nana",Great Aunt Donna and Uncle Roger. What a great weekend! The second Will got into Nana's arms he curled up on her and passed out. It was precious! Aunt Donna taught him a coo which was pretty funny to watch his face as she talked to him. He took his first trip to Eischen's and saw the Louve at the Museum. Well, he slept thru that but enjoyed his trip to Eischen's. We really enjoyed our family coming down to see us and spend time with Will.
A little update: Today I actually got Will to smile on purpose. It was awesome. Of course it was followed by a look that said "what the heck are you doing mom" but the smile was priceless. He's getting so big so fast, I can't believe he's almost 2 months old. He getting so strong, he's got that head almost under control. Hanging out without constant attention is becoming more frequent, thank goodness and he woke up 1 time last night versus the 2 times a night we've been going thru since birth. He's just a growing boy!!

6 Weeks Old

Well, our baby boy is growing like a weed. He's got the chubbiest cheeks, they crack me up!! We continue to adjust to our new world; Will has his good days and bad days. I have a feeling he'll be smiling very soon. His face lights up so much when Michael and I walk in the room. He's got that happy look on his face like "I'm so close to figuring out how my smile works" As you can see he lives in his bouncy chair, which you'd think would be great for us, but he stays content only when you bounce it, but he has some great naps in the bouncy seat. Today is the first day he's enjoyed his swing. Since he's been born, it's only effective if he goes in it after he's asleep. Today he went in it awake and passed out. Yes, he's in his straight jacket, he sleeps the best in total confinement...

Will's First Weekend at the Lake

Will got to experience his first trip to the lake for Labor Day. He was 3 1/2 weeks old. It took us a little bit to get adjusted, but as you can see by sunday he was in his element. He went swimming and for his first boat ride, but for the most part he laid passed out in his favorite bouncy seat on the beach. (No, the beer can was not his!!!) He lives a rough life I must say!!! I think he'll be a natural by next summer.
