What's with this hat?

Oh how I entertain my parents! Mommy thought I'd look pretty cute in this hat, guess she was right!

So....I've got some big news....last week I went to see my other "friend that's a girl" Caroline; well Caroline's mommy put me down on the floor for some tummy time, but I had other plans...I rolled right over onto my back instead. I did it so well you would have thought I've been doing it my whole life. Mommy got so excited and rolled me over to do it again, buuuutttt, I only wanted to do it once. Since then I've rolled over a few times and mommy tries to record it, but I'm shy in front of the camera so I just eat my hands instead.
I really enjoyed playing with Baby Caroline, but she's a bit smaller than me and I move around so much; mommy had to move me over because I kept trying to punch Caroline. Mommy said it's not nice to hit and to NEVER hit girls....Guess I have a lot to learn. I had a hard time containing myself, Caroline had this cool star that lit up and sang, apparently MY Nana got it for her for her baby shower. I wanted one so bad, but mommy couldn't find one sold seperate from the play mat. Since I already have a play mat she didn't think we needed two. So instead mommy moved my music maker that lights up above my head so I can watch it while I laugh at myself in my mirror. (Nana bought me my play mat too, it's the ocean!)

And last night I took my mommy to dinner for her birthday. Here I am sitting up in a high chair all by myself. Of course I'm packed in a bit, but I did pretty well I must say. I didn't last long though, I passed out in the booth holding daddy's hand. I think I'm teething so I'm a bit of a cranky butt.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoy your time off from work. I know I'm going to enjoy 4 days with my mommy and daddy!!!

Where's Will

It's official...I'm a hunter! Well, I dress that way anyway, daddy didn't think I'd do too well in the deer blind since you have to sit and be quiet for a long time. Instead we met Daddy and Grandpa at Eischen's for my second trip to the world's greatest chicken place (I'm taking mom's word for it!) and I got to dress like Daddy and Grandpa and pretend I'm a hunter. Here we are playing a fun game of Where is Will???
Look; I even have an orange hat and my paci is orange and my paci strap is camo, now why can't I go with Daddy and Grandpa? I'm all ready!!!!
Maybe next year! I'll be good and ready to scare the deer out of sight!!!!

A friend of mine's cousin is a photographer and needed a practice baby to get her ready for her pregnant friends infant pictures!!! She sent me a sneak peek after the photo shoot so I thought I'd post it to give you a glimpse of her AMAZING work! Will did such a good job. If you go to her blog http://greygillfish.blogspot.com/ you can see a few more precious, precious photos of Will. She got expressions we have yet to get captured in a photo.

Cookie Weekend

Will was introduced to the family business this weekend. Saturday we took his 3 months pictures with both sets of grandparents and Michael and I. It was chilly, but I think we got some amazing pictures. We'll see. I'll put the website on here when they are ready. Then saturday afternoon Will got to spend the day with his Nana while my mom and I baked all day. Then sunday Will got to help us finish baking, he did great in the kitchen, he may join in on the fun in a couple of years!

Sunday evening after grandpa and daddy got back from hunting, Will took a little cat nap on grandpa's lap. He'd been sleeping for awhile on grammy's lap, but moved over to grandpa so grammy could go eat. Grandpa put the heater up on the patio, so we were enjoying the cozy evening on the porch.
Then Mr. Will finally got up to enjoy the evening, but....
That didn't last long, he was out again.
I guess his fun filled weekend with all his grandparents wore him out!

OOOO SSSSS UUUUU!!!!!!

Just so everyone is clear, I'm a baby divided! I don't have a preference; I just wear the clothes to humor my family and friends and will choose which I like when I'm older and can make my own choice!

Fun Filled Weekend

We had a great weekend at the lake. Saturday we lounged all day and watched football. Well, actually mommy and I took some great naps while daddy watched football. Then Grammy and Grandpa and their friends Clark and Carol got back from their Talimena drive and joined us for more football and a great dinner. I got tons of attention this weekend; Sunday I spent most of the afternoon and evening sleeping to catch up on my rest from my busy weekend. Here are some fun pictures from my fun weekend.

Mom just told me we are going to the lake....ohhh, I'm so excited!!!!!

Daddy has me all bundled up while we sit under the heater on the porch friday night. What a great night!!!

Mommy didn't bring me enough warm clothes for the weekend, she wasn't expecting the weather to be so chilly so she went to the new Wally World in Checotah to get me this cute hat and mittens. Yeah, I'm really not enjoying these mittens on my hands!!! But I'm ready to go for the OU game. Aunt Traci bought me this outfit....I love it!!!
And now I'm ready for the OSU game, Aunt Bonnie and I are matchy matchy and ready to go!

Here I am with Grammy in my Camo Denver Acoustics jacket. Grandpa had this jacket made for me for next winter but low and behold it fits me now. Glad mommy tried it on me this weekend; I really like it; I stay very warm in it and I can advertise for grandpa.
And now I'm sous cheffing (sp?) for Grammy while she made her famous Fertada (sp?) sunday morning. I even have my burp clothe draped over my arm for instant messes.
Grandpa took me for a cruise in the mule sunday morning. Little does everyone know they'll be driving the wheels off of this next summer to entertain me. I had fun on my ride except when grandpa stopped to talk to friends. I like to go fast, he should know how I feel.
Will got a new crib and sheets before he was born to welcome him to the lake from Grammy and Grandpa. Here is a picture of him in his bed. We play "where is Will" when he sleeps in his camo pj's.
And to end the weekend we took a pretend cruise in grandpa's corvette. Yes, believe it or not, grandpa took his corvette to the lake for a fall foliage cruise with some friends. I just drove it in the garage while grammy put up the christmas tree.

Sous Chef

As we made dinner last night, our little sous chef set on the counter and assisted in food prep. "Okay, now slice those mushrooms. Hmmm, what can I get into???"

Don't worry, he didn't get near the knife. I think he's very interested in his socks!!!! I'm just excited they are still on his feet. We love kicking our socks off.

"Ahhhh, all that work and now some rest!" He's found comfort in the lovie near his face. We'll see if it's the chosen one!

Surviving the first 12 weeks

Well, it's official....we made it! The first 12 weeks definitely had it's ups and downs, but we got thru it and all survived! Will is going to be 3 months old on thursday; the time has flown by. I think he's taught us so much more than we've taught him so far. He's such a wonderful baby. We learn a little more each day about his personality which is so much fun. He is definitely Michael's and my child. I just hope he is more mild tempered like his daddy. Night time is so important for him, I don't think we are going to have any trouble getting him to sleep....ever. He is sleeping thru the night now which is awesome. We are learning that he needs his down time during the evenings. Too much stimulation makes him really fussy. Halloween night was rough on him, we didn't get to put his bear costume on because he was so fussy, I didn't want to torture him w/ it, so he just got his pictures taken in it that morning and they are precious. I don't have any online so I can't publish them, but I will get one on the blog when I pick up the prints. We had to finally shut off the lights and call it a night early on halloween because the door bell kept waking him up. (who's brilliant idea was it to put a door bell right outside of his room???) That would be his mommy! But other than making sure he has plenty of beauty rest; life is going great. I am working monday thru thursday now, so Will gets to go to work w/mommy and hang w/ grandpa everyday. We set his pack and play up and he has his bouncy seat there too, so he's a happy camper. The swing is his new best friend too, he loves taking naps in that. I hope one of these days we take naps in bed. We'll work on that later. Here are a few pictures of our little guy...he just melts my heart!!!

He sleeps so peaceful...and yet, he might just have something on his mind???

Oh, that thumb can calm a wild horse! He's so content!

I'm such a happy baby!!! And I'm ready to go hunting with daddy.

I'm not quite sure how this thing works, but I like it!!! My feet touch the floor w/out mommy and daddy holding me and I can kick my legs. Yeee Haaaa!!!
Here is me and daddy at Wally World. I love this carrier I can look around and kick and stretch. I'm just too cute!
